Catholic Women's League

What is the Catholic Woman’s League (CWL)?
The CWL is a group of caring and concerned women
who work together to make the lives of those less fortunate a little better.
The women abide by the CONSTITUTION of the Organisation, which is followed by CWL Groups throughout the Country.
Our Motto is: CHARITY, WORK AND LOYALTY.
We seek to achieve the spiritual development of its members and stimulate effort in all lines of women’s work.
The CWL engages in Social Welfare activities, such as:
Care of the Aged
Family Welfare
Support of Youth Programmes
Various Community Based Projects
Every quarter the CWL of Assumption Parish, networks with women from eight churches in the area.
Our recent achievements have been:
Donations to the Hospice Association
Donations to Youth for Christ Conference
Knitted Jerseys for St Mary’s Hospital HIV/AIDS Babies
Special Feeds for Premature Babies

Sick Priests Fund
These projects are only the tip of the iceberg, and we need assistance to continue with our valuable work.
